OptiCRM offers four plan tiers. Each institution can upgrade or downgrade at any time from Institution Settings.

How to Upgrade
- Go to Administration > Institution Profile
- The current plan is shown in the System tab
- Contact support or use the upgrade API to change plans
Feature Gating
When a user tries to access a feature not included in their plan, they see an upgrade prompt showing:
- Which plan is required
- What features that plan includes
- An "Upgrade Now" button
SUPER_ADMIN users bypass all plan gates for testing and support.
